Managing inpatients

You can admit, transfer, and discharge inpatients from  Inpatients.

You can put inpatients on home leave. Home leave describes when a patient is allowed to temporarily leave hospital for a period of time before returning. For example, a patient having procedures on Monday and Wednesday might be able to go home on Monday night and return Wednesday morning as part of planned care.

You can view and manage a patient's inpatient visits from Patient Detail > Patient admin > Show pathways > Inpatient.
